Dr. Pablo Catalá is Manager Director of the Poultry Quality and Animal Nutrition Centre of the Valencian Community in Castellon (Spain) and he is also Associate Professor of the Veterinary Medicine bachelor´s degree at the Faculty of Health Sciences of the CEU Cardenal Herrera University (CEU-UCH) of Valencia (Spain). He graduated BVSc. degree in 2001 at the CEU-UCH. He was granted by the Spanish Minister and in he obtained his European Ph.D. degree in Veterinary Sciences in 2007 at the University of Murcia (Spain). During his pre-doctoral training he made a research stay at the INRA-Centre de Tours-SRA (France). In 2013 he received the European certification from the European College of Poultry Veterinary Science (ECPVS). From October 2001 to September 2002, he worked as veterinarian for a poultry company (APESA S.A). In 2007 he was appointed as Director of the Valencian Poultry Association (ASAV) and from 2008 to date he holds the Manager Director position at the Poultry Quality and Animal Nutrition Centre of the Valencian Community. Prof. Pablo Catalá main scientific merits can be summarized as follows: he has published 15 scientific original articles in international JCR journals and one chapter in a book; he has participated in more than 40 national and international research conferences and also co-directed one PhD work. In addition, he worked on 8 research projects (being the Project Leader in 5 of them) and he has been the organizer of about 30 national conferences, having also participated as lecturer in several training courses and seminars for different universities and institutions.
