Sandra Sevilla, BVSc.

Sandra Sevilla Navarro recently graduated Veterinary Medicine at the CEU Cardenal Herrera University (CEU-UCH) of Valencia (Spain) in 2016. From October 2014 to June 2016, she received a collaborative Veterinary Microbiology scholarship (Sanitary Control in Production Animals) from the Department of Production and Animal Health, General Veterinary Health, and Science & Technology of Food Product at the CEU-UCH. In addition, during her veterinary bachelor´s studies she was also actively involved in different research projects regarding epidemiology, risk factors and resistance to antimicrobials of Salmonella and Campylobacter strains, both in the food chain and in different wild and domestic animals. Further, she did different practical stays in the Group for Rehabilitation of Autochthonous Fauna and its Habitat (GREFA) in Madrid (Spain), Conselleria of Agriculture, Fishing and Nourishment of the Valencian Community (Spain), Reception Centre of Urban Avifauna and Exotic Animals (Municipality of Valencia) and in the Poultry Quality and Animal Nutrition Centre of the Valencian Community. She has also participated in several national and international conferences. Since July 2016, she is employed as veterinarian at the Poultry Quality and Animal Nutrition Centre of the Valencian Community in Castellon.
