National Congress on Microbiology in Spain

UAB researchers have participated in the XXVII Congreso Nacional de Microbiología organized by the Spanish Society of Microbiology in Malaga (Spain) 2nd-5th July 2019.

The event was attended by 350 experts. Including a total of 40 researchers who participated as speakers at the congress. Thus, from almost 250 communications, a dozen symposium and multiple parallel sessions, some of the topics that were addressed are the strategies for the design of new antibiotics or resistance to antimicrobial agents, considered as the largest Global health problem of the twentieth century, among many others.
